The Forum is currently closed to new members. If you want to join the forum you will need to contact me via the address given in the newsletter. I have had to cancel new members to try and protect the forum. I will see how this works. We seem to have attracted some nasty virus since I went on holiday, I don't know how or why this has happened but it is very distressing to me, and to all of you too. To top it all, my IT guy, the person who set this all up, is unavailable. I am looking at upgrading the database, which will cost money I don't really have and also mean re-installing the whole thing. I've reported every dodgy email to CAN-SPAM, but I guess there's only so much they can do. Plus, somehow, some kind of virus has got on the database and is syphoning emails. I will see if the upgrade can do anything to improve the situation. Otherwise, I may have to call time on the forum. The thing I guess I should be grateful for is that we've managed almost three years without this kind of problem. I remember something similar happening over at Absolute Write's Water Cooler around 2 years ago. It is so frustrating when you've worked so hard to give newbies a chance to share their experiences and their work. But I can also take some blame. Since I began home-schooling my child I've not had as much time for the forum as before. I am trying my best on this, but am only human.
